When you contact Gentle Heart Doula Care, you will be speaking directly with me! As the owner and founder of Gentle Heart Doula Care, I pride myself on providing high quality, affordable, and accessible birth support to our community.

About: I was born and raised right here in the community surrounding Wichita, Kansas. I’m a Registered Nurse, First Aid/CPR Instructor, and certified Birth Doula (CBI). I married my long-time best friend in 2023 and our days are filled with caring for our little homestead and our St. Bernard puppy!

Doula Journey: You know that feeling you get when you’re doing something you truly love?? My heart and passion has always been for supporting other women. It’s why I became a nurse, and it’s why I became a doula! Nothing brings me greater joy than getting to be your cheerleader and trusted resource. Gentle Heart Doula Care is more than just a job for me — it is a calling. This is where the Lord has led me and I am proud to serve Kansas families!

I trained through Childbirth International’s birth doula program. They are ANCC accredited and offer over 200 hours of comprehensive education in pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum periods. Even more, I love continuing my education through other trusted organizations so I can always be well-equipped to provide thorough and excellent care to my clients!

  • 24/7 call throughout your entire pregnancy, not just the weeks surrounding your due date!
  • Longer active labor support – by hiring a doula team, you can get more than the typical 10-12 hours of active labor support in case labor goes longer!
  • Two minds are better than one! – When it comes to knowing how to best support you and baby in that particular moment, rest assured that you have multiple people working together to ensure the highest quality of care for you and your family!
  • Meet the backup BEFORE the birth! – Enjoy getting to meet both doulas during your birth planning visit so you’ll know exactly who is going to be there

I partner and work closely with select doulas from our community that match my philosophy and beliefs so that Gentle Heart Doula Care’s expecting or recently delivered mothers can continue to receive the same top-notch, tailored care that they’ve come to expect while also getting the assurance that someone will always be there.
